Good evening! Today feels like a Friday in our household... the kids have the next three days off from school so we're off to visit relatives! Before I go I spent some time tidying my craftroom( oh, what a disaster it gets in when I'm at my most creative!!!) and then I made a mess playing along with this week's prompt for
Jingle Belles! This week the ladies have invited us to use a Christmas carol to inspire our cards. I love the traditional songs that remind of the holy season , so I made my card to reflect those beautiful hymns.
The Sounding Joy is one of my fav sets already . I paired the sentiment with an image of three wisemen ( Season Of Simple Grace)... I stamped this image with versamark for a very subtle effect , and then stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler to match the ribbon and cardbase. The fancy edge is actually a piece of a diecut that I re-purposed as a border for this card.
Have a great week.... thanks for stopping by!!!
I love the subtle image behind that gorgeous sentiment ... so glad you went caroling with us at jingle belles.
