Another digital scrapbook layout
I really need to catch up on my scrapbooking, but I just don't seem to find the time to sit down and actually scrapbook my pics, so I thought I'd do a digi page .I found some really neat elements from Summer Driggs( her link is on my blog) which I think went really well with SU! The Write Stuff background paper. What do you think?

Just Us Girls Color Challenge
This week's color challenge from JUGS was coral, raspberry, chocolate and ivory.
I didn't really like Cameo Coral and RazzleBerry together until I saw the beautiful submissions for this challenge. Still, I played it safe and used only a touch of coral for my card.
Teeny Tiny wishes is a great stamp set for adding just a small sentiment to the front of the card and the butterfly embosslits are so cute and fun to use!

Mojo Monday 127
Here are my cards for this weeks challenge: scallop circle and square cards.
I used SU! scallop circle die and simply adhered a notecard to the back, as I could not make the full circle card without losing some of the shape. Next time,I'll make a circle card with my Cricut ( would've been a lot easier!!! ) The rest was pretty easy, SAB DSP for background , Melon Mambo and So Saffron and Whisper White. I dyed my white taffeta ribbon, using my Melon Mambo marker. I love the Small Script stamp set....... it gets used a lot in my cards. The brad is actually Summer Sun Corduroy from SU! , but I thought it went well.
I pulled out some retired paper and ink for this card. Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss were two of my favorite colors from 2009 Idea Book And Catalogue along with the coordinating DSP Good Morning Sunshine.
The greeting and birthday presents, which I watercolored using Pacific Point & Kiwi Kiss, are from 2010 SAB set; Happy Moments .The blude ribbon is from the '09 In Colors ( sadly, retired!) and the orange is from the current IBC.

Paper Pals Arts challenge inspired
Another quick car inspired by PPA sketch. This simple card was made using the Certainly Celery DSP from SU! and the SAB set Whimsical Words ( a very versatile set!) and from the regular catalogue, Inspired By Nature. I hadn't used my ticket punch in awhile ( so many great new punches to play with!) and the wide oval as well as the decorative edge punch.
Mojo Monday
This is my first entry for Mojo Monday. I love the Sweet Pea collection so much that I just had to use it again! I used my SU! markers( Rose Red & Always Artichoke) to color in the flower from the Hostess set, Echo Of Kindness and Rose Red for the medallion stamp from SAB Vintage Labels.

The DSP Sweet Pea is my favorite... it goes well with just about any type of card I want to make , like this simple birthday card. I used Vintage Labels ( SAB) and Well Scripted ( Occasions Mini) stamp sets .I did some faux stitching for added detail, and the Chocolate Chip corduroy button finished the card off.
A very quick and basic card to make using another of SU! SAB sets, Good Neighbour and a sentiment from Small Script. The patterned paper is also from SAB. I used Melon Mambo for the oval and TopNote mats and Soft Suede as the card base.
The Beautiful Wings embosslits from the new mini are a simple way to add a adorable accent to a card ( and they are a great way to use up any scraps of DSP you have leftover!) The DSP, cardstock and ribbon are all Old Olive but for some reason, they look different in this pic....
Word Shape Book
This was a quick book to make.... I bought the letters pre-cut , so I just decorated them and used my Bind-It-All to bind the book together. The date on the cover was made with my Cricut and I used Stampin'Up! star punches and stamps and some of the ribbon on the inside.

Valentines treats
These are the Valentine treat holders I made for my daughter's Guide unit. I used the Sweet Treats cartridge Cricut and Teeny Tiny Wishes and the tag was stamped with Admit It hostess set from Stampin Up! I made 22 of these so I just bought cheap paper from Michaels and the glitter hearts were cut with the Doodlecharms cartridge on Doodlebug glitter paper. Very simple to make .
