Baby shower decorations

Getting ready for my dear friend's baby shower!

Baby sock bouquet

I found another cute baby shower decoration on Youtube..... super easy to make!I used the satin ribbon from Stampin' UP!'s  Spring mini ( Old Olive) for the leaves and a package of ruffled socks ( Walmart) made these adorable flowers, which can be used later!

Diaper Cake - Cricut Wild Card & Doodlecharms cartridges

My friend recently had her first child, a beautiful little girl! I was so excited to make this "cake"... way easier for me to decorate! I made the flowers,( I added mini pearls to the centers) and babybottle from the Doodlecharms cartridge and the It's A Girl and baby buggy is from Wildcard. I just the love the Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette colours together!

Quick Birthday card

Just thought I'd used up some of my odds and ends of patterned paper I've got stashed everywhere in my craftroom!!!!

Colour Renovation

One of my all time favorite colours is returning..... River Rock!!! I'm almost out of my stash of cardstock for this colour, too!!!  I love that SU! is adding some tren dy products to their line.. Smooch is so hot right now! I've been using it on my scrappages for awhile and now I can demo it on my SU! projects!!!! Yay!!!! :-)
I completely cased the idea fro this card from the May Stampin' Success magazine..... just made it mine!
Cardstock: River Rock, Baja Breeze( also returning!)and Chocolate Chip
Ink:Chocolate Chip
Stamp: Kind And Caring Thoughts (level 3 Hostess Set)
And Smooch glimmer spray in SU! Log Cabin

Mother's Day card

I pulled out Cameo Coral, one of the retiring colours, for this card. I also dusted off my Color Spritzer, which has probably been used maybe three times since i bought it three years ago!!!! I used the So Saffron marker to add a touch of colour to the white mat.... I was aiming for a more subtle effect , but that didn't quite happen !! Oh well!! :-)
For the rest, I just used some grosgrain ribbon, Sweet Pea DSP,and the sentiment from Well Scripted and the flower is from the Hostess set , Asian Artistry.

My Digital Studio hybrid card

I was inspired by  the amazing Patty Bennett ( http://www.pattysstamps.com/)  to combine my Digital Studio and traditional cardmaking to create an unique card.  I used the script background and "stamped" an image from the Razzle Dazzle set. I have to admit that this is not one of favorite sets kin the catalogue ,but since I was able to make it a size that I like I've changed my mind!!!! I printed several of these in different sizes to use on future projects!  I added ribbon and brads to give the card a little dimension ,and used a sentiment from SAB Vintage Labels and adhered it to Basic Black cardstock. Very simple!!

Mini Album

I found an amazing tutorial on http://www.thepapertrail.blogspot.com/. It was for a Z-fold album made with 6X8" and coin envelopes . I didn't have any 6X8" size so I adapted mine using quarter fold sized ( standard invitation size|). This mini was so much fun to make! I used onlu my SU! supplies and I was pretty pleased with how it turned out, considering this was my first attempt! I'm already planning a Christmas mini...... so many possibilities!!!!! Hope you like it!
For some reason my picture is posting sideways ( I can`t fix it!!! ugh!) I still need a title for this mini....... any suggestions  would be welcome!

Stamps used: Define Your Life & coordinating alphabet. Scallop circle & border punch and Two Tags die make the tags tucked inside the coin envelopes.Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive and Sweet Pea DSP were used .

The first page are two coin envelopes covered in cardstock and the next page is an envelope(opened to create pocket) and another envelope was cut in half to make a pocket for the tag and attached to the flap of the middle page.

I kept alternating the size of envelopes to create different sized pockets.

SPCC Colour Challenge

This week's challenge was Almost Amethyst, Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede. I wanted different than a card so I pulled out a wall hanging keepsake  from Kaiser Craft ( had for a few years) and used My Digital Studio for the greeting ( nonSU! sentiment) and The Write Stuff DSP ( background and journalling block) and Soft Suede ribbon. The fancy flower punch is fantastic for creating unique accents and the lattice die . The flowers hanging will hold pics of  my kids.

PPA36-Colour Challenge

It's been awhile since I last posted, we are in the process of selling our house and it's been so crazy around here!!! I know I'm gonna have lots of fun making cute butterflies for my craft projects and scrapbooking ! I don't know why I waited so long to get this die!!!!!!
