Mojo Monday 129

Mojo Monday 129 Sketch Challenge

With spring and Easter just around the corner I thought I'd make a few Easter  themed cards. I love Mojo Monday sketches.. so of course I used this week's challenge to make these cards.
I found this adorable bunny stamp at a local craft store a few years ago and it's still one of my favorites! Instead of stamping in black and colouring it in, I used my SU! markers and coloured the outline: I love how it turned out! I'm trying to use up some of my patterned paper stash ( the stash keeps growing???), so I used a bit of American Crafts  polka dot paper, the rest is Stampin'Up! .
SU! Cardstock:    Garden Green, Really Rust, So Saffron , Whisper White . Ribbon: So Saffron  Markers: Garden Green, Only Orange , Creamy Caramel.   Sentiment:  Teeny Tiiny Wishes

I love this little chick stamp from  imaginisce , which I finally used , although I bought it last year!!!! I also a flourish stamp which I found amoung my non-SU! stamps.
The rest  of  the supplies are Stampin'Up!
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Regal Rose  DSP:Sweet Pea ( striped) pink flowers ( '09
retired DSP) Ribbon: So Saffron  Ink So Saffron, Basic Black, Bashful Blue Sentiment: Teeny Tiny Wishes

A couple of quick birthday cards.

I've been mking a lot of cards lately, but I haven't used my Cricut for any of them! I bought the Sweet Treats cartridge a few months ago but I haven't made a birthday card with it yet. I did make a few treat holders for Valentine's Day, but I love the cakes in this cartridge.I needed to make these cards quickly, so I kept the design very simple!

Sunny Stampin' Studio Challenge #3

This is my layout for Andrea's Challenge to use only Stampin'Up! products to case a scrap page from a magazine, etc.I enjoy the sketches in Scrapbooks Etc. and as soon as I saw this page again ( from Oct 2009 issue) , I thought it'd be fun to use the beautiful paper form SU! Sweet Pea collection. I even managed to use a stamp set that had been sitting on my shelf collecting dust!! Check out Andrea's fabulous site for loads of inspiration!!! ( http://www.andreawalford.com/)
Here's the magazine layout:

I kept my layout veryy simple, just DSP for background, and for the strip, and I cut out the tree form the same striped paper.I love my Big Shot, it's so versatile..... the photo mats and the sentiment mat were made in a jiffy!!! I used my markers to colour the sentiment (Full Of Life) and the cute owl is from the Fox and Friends set from the new mini. I added some Crystal Effects to make it stand out. Finally, the eyelet border punch added some detail to the Bashful Blue cardstock strip. I finished the page off with a little Always Artichoke grosgrain ribbon tied to a miniclip on the photmat. This page took about 15 minutes to complete! So easy!

Now I just have to add pics!!!
