Good morning everybody!! Have you heard of this blogsite
Jingle Belles? I discovered on a friend's blog ( thanks Emma ) , and the whole point of this blog is to make a card each week so that you don't have to scramble to get 'em done during all the hustle and bustle of Christmas! Sounds good, doesn't it? Well, to help you along the ladies provide you with challenges to get your fabulous ideas flowing. Check it out!
This is my first time participating .... here`s the sketch:
and here`s my take on it........
Nothing fancy here, just some patterned paper from My Mind`s Eye , cardstock, ribbon, and punches from Stampin`Up! ( and sentiment, too) and the skaters are from Cosmo Cricket`s winter line last year ( cut out form paper).Embossing folder is Sizzix.
Until next time...... happy crafting!!!
Such thee perfect mix of manufacturers goodies...your card is super adorable!! I'm so glad that you played along in the Jingle Belles sketch challenge!!!!
ReplyDeleteCandy, you are so quick! This card is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy.... awesome idea with a card a week, now I have to try to catch up!!! Thanks for the great sketches!!
ReplyDeleteEmma, you knbow me.... always in a hurry!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteYour card for this week at Jingle Belles is amazing - it's got rich colors and that adorable vintage skating couple! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteoooooooooooh! what a ♥FAB♥ take this is on amy's sketch! i am loving the stamps you used...and the combination of the snowflake paper paired with the EMBOSSED snowy pattern is just BRILLIANT!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Candy! I am in a Christmas Card Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers where you commit to make a certain number per month. Those that make their number get put into a monthly draw for a prize. This one that you are doing is really interesting to me too because I could really use the ideas and push to get these done! I only had 16 made cards to give out this year and that was because of someone having a stamp-a-stack (I wonder who that was lol!) No store-bought cards for me this year!
ReplyDeleteI love that vintage image and elegant sentiment ... and the knotted ribbon is the perfect finishing touch ... thanks so much for joining our jingle belles journey.
ReplyDeleteLove your card. Very clever way to use the punch. I'll have to remember that one.
ReplyDeleteSweet card. I'm glad you found the challenge blog. Isn't it the greatest?!?
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies for your kind comments !!!
