Jingle Belles: We Three Kings

Hello !!! Wow, it's been a week since I last posted!!! I had all these plans to get some projects up on my blog but this past week seems to have flown on by and it's Saturday again!!!! But I did manage to finish my Jingle Belles card this week. This week Julee Tucker-Wolek joins JB as a guest designer and she has a fabulous prize for one lucky participant. Go check out her blog ( you can get the link from JB) to see all her wonderful artwork!!

This week's theme is We Three Kings. When I first read that, I was thinking how in the world am I ever gonna find three kings????? But thankfully as I read on , it means that we just need to use three (or more, if your heart desires!!!) patterned papers on our card. Whew! That sounds like  alot more fun!!

My card is pretty simple... I followed the rules : three  patterned papers, all from a really old stash of Doodlebug papers .I used my cricut to cut the labels for the sentiment ( SU) , a little bit of silver cord for the bow and a snowflake brad and that's it!!!! I think it took me a whopping 15 minutes to make this card!!!!
So now I'm off to enjoy this lovely spring evening.... have a great rest of your Saturday!!! Thanks for stopping by .... hope to see you again, soon!!!

  7. Candy, congrats on your win at JB! Woot woot :)

The Martha Stewart doily is actually a pack called "tags." There are 12 in a package (I think). They are pre-die cut, but you need to use a paper piercer to punch out some of the tiny holes that are still sort of attached. It's kind of a pain, but I like the small size of the doilies and that they are a bit thicker card stock than the doilies in the cake decorating section.
