Jingle Belles : Neutral Noel

Yay, it's Friday!!! We're halfway through the current challenge at Jingle Belles - Neutral Holidays. Lauren and Stef gave us a gorgeous photo to help jumpstart our creativity...

We can use the colors as an inspiration or the patterns or whatever inspires you! I was inspired by the peacefullnes of the images.....

I found this digi image while surfing the web - you can find her at The Paper Shelter. I colored her with my Copics in soft shades of blue and I colored the doily to match. The snowflakes were made with my Cricut , using It's A Child's Year cartridge. I cut them at 1", 3/4" and 1/2".The paper is from an old Michaels Christmas stack and the ribbon was purchased at a local craft store. The sentiment is from a SU hostess set :The More The Merrier ( retired ).

Here's a closeup of the girl- I'm still learning how to shade with my Copics and I still have lots to learn! But still, it's so  much just learning!!!

So this is my card for the  Jingle Belles challenge - hope you enjoyed it!
Thanks for stopping by.... have a great weekend!

  1. Gorgeous card, love the sweet

  2. Love the soft pretty blues & your peaceful holiday design ... so very glad you joined us at jingle belles.

  3. You did a great job. I love the image you chose.

  4. Love the colors - turquoise/blue and brown are a very special combination. Great card.

  5. ohhhhhh how i love that neutral--but glittery!!!--background paper and of course that sheer bow is such a stunningly pretty addition! as for your coloring, it looks quite seriously expert to me, missus... you couldn't just stop by and touch up the highlights on *MY* hair just like that, couldja??!?! :) :) :)

  6. Oh, if only I could Lauren, I would be there in a heartbeat!! My hair needs more than a touchup these days ( hmmm, maybe a wig would solve my hair issues!!!!)
